Position: Billing Clerk

We are looking for a Billing Clerk who will play a crucial role within the Espace M agency. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this person will work closely with various internal stakeholders such as planners, media buyers, the controller, and other operational teams. This role involves significant responsibility in managing client and supplier billing, thus ensuring a positive and professional image of the agency through efficient billing services.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform client billing and/or approval of supplier invoices.
  • Produce client invoices in accordance with media plans and instructions from planners and media buyers.
  • Review and approve supplier invoices, and make adjustment requests as needed.
  • Establish a positive image of the company through effective and professional billing service.
  • Proceed with monthly and periodic billing of corporate clients.
  • Create invoices once billing operations are completed.
  • Manage client files, including validating rates and deadlines.
  • Work closely with the agency’s controller.
  • Respond to all billing-related inquiries.
  • Participate in improving operational processes.
  • Maintain certain profitability reports of the agency.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in administration, finance, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in billing or in a similar position.
  • Good command of office software and billing management systems.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.

The agency is based in Montreal, however, working from Montreal is not necessary as remote work is a possibility at Espace M. We also allow up to 3 months of remote work outside of Quebec per year.
