Position: Programmatic Practice Lead
We are looking for a Programmatic Practice Lead with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Reporting to the Director of Digital Media, the candidate will be responsible for advancing the use of programmatic advertising at Espace M. We are seeking an individual with advanced mastery of various programmatic platforms (DSP) and the ability to share their practice, knowledge, and vision with the platform specialists’ team. At Espace M, we primarily use DSPs such as Beeswax, StackAdapt, and Amazon Ads, but experience with other DSPs can also be valuable.
In an industry that is constantly evolving and with support from various touchpoints, the Programmatic Practice Lead will ensure they stay up-to-date with best practices, innovations, and the latest trends to disseminate within the team. While not having managerial responsibilities, this person will be responsible for training, guiding, and challenging teams on the proper use of programmatic platforms.
Advanced knowledge of data analysis platforms such as Google Analytics and Data Studio is also an asset.
- Contribute to positioning Espace M as an industry leader in programmatic advertising.
- Educate, train, and challenge the team on our programmatic platforms. The individual must be an inspiring and motivating leader with the ability to extract the best from the team.
- Manage and develop discussions with all our programmatic media partners: challenge them, negotiate deals, stay updated on their offerings.
- Ensure that best practices are implemented within the team, and that each member maximizes the use of our programmatic platforms in terms of performance, inventory quality, and profitability.
- Establish tangible and measurable performance and profitability goals and make every effort to achieve them.
- Collaborate with our planning team to provide the best solutions to address each client’s challenges, offering tailored solutions with real added value for each campaign.
- Propose new opportunities to improve agency practices, promote innovation and initiative among team colleagues in programmatic media.
- Anticipate industry developments and propose tangible solutions to adapt.
- Execute and follow a rigorous process to minimize possible online errors.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in media agency, digital agency, or a company with a specialization in programmatic advertising.
- University degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience in e-commerce campaigns is a significant asset.
- Very good command of both French and English, both orally and in writing.

Although the agency is based in Montreal, it is not mandatory to work from Montreal, as telecommuting is an option at Espace M. We also allow up to 3 months of telecommuting outside of Quebec annually.
