To mark the college registration period, Collège Universel de Montréal is deploying a new communication campaign designed by the agency Hula Hoop, in collaboration with Espace M. Designed for the Montreal market, this initiative marks the institution’s first communication actions in the city. Hula Hoop also supports Collège Universel for its campaigns in Gatineau and France.
Located in the heart of downtown, Collège Universel is a private bilingual institution that places employability at the center of its mission. In an environment where the offer of college programs is abundant, future students are faced with a multitude of choices. The campaign builds on this context by highlighting the need for a clear, concrete, and accessible path toward a diploma leading to a job.
The message aims to position Collège Universel as an option for those who wish to acquire skills quickly and enter the labor market with confidence. The institution promotes an offer of programs centered on employability, accessible through loans and bursaries.
On the creative side, the concept is based on a simple visual metaphor. A pile of objects symbolizes the confusion related to orientation choices, from which a pin emerges highlighting the Collège Universel logo. The image evokes the idea of a landmark and a place to begin a structured journey.
The campaign is available in videos and digital placements, supported by a dedicated landing page. A second phase of out-of-home advertising is underway, with the deployment of two murals in the Montreal metro, at McGill and Place-d’Armes stations, as well as activations in downtown businesses.
As part of this project, Espace M orchestrates the entire media strategy and execution, ensuring perfect synergy between digital and traditional levers. Our expertise guarantees a consistent and impactful presence across all touchpoints selected for the campaign.
