Title: Media Planner Assistant

The position of media planner assistant is an entry-level role in a media agency. This professional will be responsible for supporting the media planning team in their daily tasks and in the management of clients and 360 media campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, development, execution, and monitoring of media plans for assigned accounts:
    • Research in databases (Vividata, Statista, etc.)
    • Update BCRs (Budget Control Reports)
    • Manage purchase authorizations (MPA)
  • Assist media planners in developing innovative media strategies that meet client needs.
  • Monitor the deployment and optimization of campaigns while liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze campaign results in collaboration with another team member (planner, director, and/or platform specialist).
  • Participate in the presentation of campaign reports and reviews (post-mortems).
  • Work closely with other agency teams: purchasing, digital operations, organic search, and billing/accounting.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in a media agency (or in a media department of an advertising agency).
  • University degree in advertising, marketing, or any other related field.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
