Espace M is a Montreal-based 360 media agency made up of 32 seasoned specialists working for around a hundred clients across Canada and the United States. With media placement constantly evolving and platforms multiplying, Espace M has built a passionate team that stays on top of media trends, ensuring a holistic approach to defining the most effective placement strategies for its clients.
The agency is currently seeking to recruit a Media Buying Coordinator who will be assigned to active agency accounts. Reporting directly to the Media Buying Director, this role is essential in supporting the development and implementation of effective media buying strategies for our clients. The individual will work in collaboration with media buyers and other team members, providing support throughout the buying process.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist media buyers in requesting, analyzing, and comparing media proposals (traditional and digital).
  • Actively participate in the purchase order validation process and ensure compliance.
  • Assist media buyers in receiving, checking, and sending advertising materials to various media outlets.
  • Support the team with knowledge of various advertising formats and ensure their proper execution.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of creative assets.
  • Contribute to optimizing buying strategies based on objectives and budget.
  • Assist in launching digital campaigns (excluding Google Ads and social platforms).
  • Help produce advertising campaign performance reports.
  • Actively participate in team and project meetings.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or in media buying support.
  • University degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of media buying processes and various advertising formats.
  • Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to work in an organized and methodical manner, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • High degree of adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate across various departments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Workspace (primarily Excel/Sheets).
  • Familiarity with the digital advertising industry and media management software is an asset.
