The second edition of the \u201cM\u00e9dia d\u2019icitte\u201d program, organized by CBC and Radio Canada Solutions M\u00e9dia<\/a>, took place on November 6 at the Maison de Radio Canada. The initiative aims to support young agency professionals and strengthen their understanding of local media.<\/p>\n

Espace M took part in the event by sending two team members. Forty participants gathered for a clear challenge: create, as a team, an integrated media campaign tied to a CBC or Radio Canada content piece, all in sixty minutes.<\/p>\n

The teams presented their ideas before a jury composed of Nicolas Duvernois, founder and president of Duvernois, Laurence Laperri\u00e8re, Associate Vice President, Strategy at Cossette Media, and Sophie Loiselle, Head of Client Media Creativity at CBC and Radio Canada Solutions M\u00e9dia.<\/p>\n

We are proud to highlight the performance of Zachary Pothier, SEO and Digital Platforms Specialist at Espace M, whose team won the competition. A strong demonstration of talent, creativity, and mastery of media environments.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn amazing experience. Working with passionate people to build a campaign around local content is exactly the kind of challenge that motivates me. Winning the challenge was the cherry on top.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carolanne Chantigny, Assistant Media Planner, also represented Espace M as part of this second cohort.<\/p>\n

\u201cI loved the experience. Building a pitch in sixty minutes with people you meet on the spot truly tests listening, collaboration, and creativity. Presenting our idea in front of the dragons added a great adrenaline rush. It reminded me of the energy of university competitions.\u201d<\/p>\n

At Espace M, we encourage our teams to deepen their understanding of local media. This knowledge is key, as it allows us to advise our clients and design plans that fit their needs. Investing in local media also helps maintain the quality and diversity of news and cultural content produced in Quebec. Our participation in the M\u00e9dia d\u2019icitte program reflects this commitment that we take to heart.<\/p>\n
